LAGOS, June 19 – Stakeholders from the public and private sectors are set to meet in Lagos on 3 July 2026 for the Nigeria ESG Sustainability Summit 2026, where discussions will centre on practical ways to strengthen sustainable business and governance practices across the country.
Organised by ESG Impact Consulting Ltd, the summit will hold at the Lagos Oriental Hotel under the theme, “Beyond Greening: Strategies for a Sustainable World.” The event aims to encourage wider adoption of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles and move conversations beyond symbolic environmental efforts.
According to the organisers, the summit comes at a time when Nigeria is facing climate, economic and governance challenges. It will bring together policymakers, investors, business leaders, development partners and sustainability professionals for keynote sessions, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
The programme will focus on expanding ESG adoption across key sectors, promoting sustainable finance through green bonds, carbon markets and impact investing, while also encouraging stronger policy alignment, technical capacity and social inclusion.
A key feature of the event will be the Nigeria ESG Exhibition and Promotion 2026, where companies, startups and government institutions will showcase sustainability projects and solutions. The summit will also host the National Sustainability Achievements Awards 2026, recognising organisations and individuals making notable contributions to responsible business, environmental protection, social inclusion and good governance.
Chief Executive Officer of ESG Impact Consulting, Desmond Esorougwue, said the company remains committed to helping organisations create long term value through sustainable business practices that support economic growth and social impact.
