PORT LOUIS, June 18 – Kairos Capital Partners has appointed Ranojit Banerjee as Head of Private Clients and External Asset Management (EAM), reinforcing the firm’s ambition to expand its wealth management platform and strengthen its presence across international markets.
Based in Mauritius, Banerjee will lead the firm’s External Asset Management business, focusing on serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals with tailored wealth preservation, investment and portfolio management solutions.
The appointment comes as Mauritius continues to strengthen its position as a leading international financial center connecting investment flows between Africa, Asia and global markets.
Banerjee brings more than two decades of experience spanning private wealth management, institutional advisory, independent asset structuring and bespoke portfolio management.
Throughout his career, he has advised wealthy individuals, family offices and institutional clients across multiple jurisdictions, developing expertise in managing complex cross-border investment portfolios.
In his new role, he will be responsible for scaling Kairos Capital Partners’ private client business, deepening relationships with external asset managers and expanding the firm’s regional footprint.
Prior to joining Kairos Capital Partners, Banerjee held senior positions at several leading financial institutions, including Standard Chartered and Citibank, as well as wealth and investment management firms such as Reliance Private Wealth, Pinnacle Asset and Investment Management, and Banque Pasche.
Over the course of his career, he has managed client portfolios across India, the Middle East and the Far East, building a reputation for delivering customized investment strategies and long-term wealth management solutions.
Kairos Capital Partners said the appointment reflects its commitment to strengthening its private wealth offering amid growing demand for sophisticated investment and asset management services from affluent clients across emerging and frontier markets.
The firm believes Banerjee’s extensive international experience, combined with his client-focused approach, will support its efforts to grow assets under management and enhance its position within the global private wealth landscape.
As wealth creation accelerates across Africa, Asia and the Middle East, firms are increasingly expanding their external asset management capabilities to meet rising demand for personalized investment advisory, estate planning and wealth preservation services.
Banerjee’s appointment positions Kairos Capital Partners to capitalize on these trends while leveraging Mauritius’ role as a gateway for international investment and cross-border wealth management.
